Our history begins with the practice purchase in 1990, by our founding partner, Dr. Jerry Rodenbarger. At the start, the clinic was a 2,100 square foot facility and operated with only 2 veterinarians, and approximately 8 other supporting staff members. Dr. Mary Ann Sheller partnered with Dr. Rodenbarger in the year of 1992. Our facility was expanded and remodeled in 1994.
Now, the practice is a busy 5,400 square foot facility, giving veterinary care to small companion animals (primarily feline and canine). Alongside our hospitals owners, we have 4 associate veterinarians; Dr. Bill Donohue, Dr. Kim Juhlin, Dr. Lisa Booth, and Dr. Brent Lakia, 5 registered veterinary technicians, and 37 more support staff members. We are proud to have some of the warmest people in veterinary medicine employed with our hospital. Even though our practice has grown tremendously, we work to maintain the "small clinic" atmosphere.
We are committed to providing comprehensive, quality care for patients to enhance their well-being and quality of life. We achieve this by having a warm, knowledgeable, and professional staff, who provide your pet with up-to-date medical and surgical care. It is our goal to educate and involve clients in a lifetime health care plan for their companions. From routine to advanced care, Vale Park Animal Hospital is proud to offer the very best treatment and service. We strive to exceed your every expectation.
Every Wednesday from 12:00pm to 2:00pm we will be closing our clinic for staff training and assorted meetings. Starting promptly at 2:00pm we will resume normal business hours, but please know that during these scheduled meetings our office will be closed and our phones will be turned off.
